This is a hybrid Senior Business Systems Analyst contract role in Vancouver, British Columbia, focused on digital banking platforms. What you’ll do
- Analyze business needs and produce technical solution designs.
- Review requirements and manage product backlog items.
- Lead implementation initiatives for retail and small-business digital banking platforms.
- Define non-functional requirements and support configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Create interface requirements, functional requirements, backlog items, and solution-design documents.
- Deploy solutions to lower environments and perform unit testing.
- Work with architects, platform leads, solution architects, vendors, and delivery teams.
- Analyze complex data to support decisions and process improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases.

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business technology, or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of progressive business systems analysis, business analysis, or solution-delivery experience.
- Experience translating complex requirements into technical designs in enterprise environments.
- Experience with integrations, platform implementations, and software-delivery lifecycles.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, backlog management, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong documentation, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
Nice to have
- Financial-services, credit-union, banking, or other regulated-industry experience.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, AAC, or comparable certification.
- Experience with platform modernization, cloud technologies, or digital transformation.
- Experience with vendor-managed applications and third-party technology partnerships.
