About the role
This is a full-time home child care provider position for someone caring for a multi-aged group of children in a private household in Markham, Ontario. You'll supervise children, support their emotional well-being and personal development, prepare meals, and maintain a safe and healthy home. The role includes light housekeeping and may offer no-cost live-in accommodation, although living in is optional.
What you’ll do
- Take responsibility for the household when the parents are away.
- Supervise and care for children of different ages.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- Teach children about personal hygiene and social development.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Support children's emotional well-being.
- Keep the home safe and healthy.
- Complete light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
