What you’ll do
- Work with business stakeholders to understand objectives, workflows and product requirements
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder discussions and discovery workshops
- Translate business requirements into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria
- Act as liaison across business stakeholders, Salesforce teams and internal product/development teams
- Collaborate with Salesforce and Athenahealth teams on workflows, integrations and data requirements
- Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement and sprint planning
- Define business scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing
What they’re looking for
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting software or digital product development
- Strong domain expertise in healthcare, with understanding of US healthcare workflows
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, including workflows, integrations and data flows
- Hands-on experience with Athenahealth or similar EHR/EMR platforms
- Track record in requirements gathering and documentation, including BRDs and process flow diagrams
- Understanding of enterprise system integrations, APIs and data flows
- Experience within an Agile/Scrum product development environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience supporting specialized healthcare technology platforms
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR
- Hands-on experience with healthcare system integrations and REST/SOAP APIs
- Proficiency using Jira and Confluence
- Experience working across distributed or global cross-functional teams
