About the role
This is a senior business analyst role at CoverGo, an insurtech company, working fully remotely but restricted to candidates based in Canada. The analyst works with clients and technical teams to gather requirements and design business process and system solutions for health insurance products. It suits someone with at least 5 years of business analysis experience, including in the health insurance industry. CoverGo is a no-code insurance platform serving enterprise clients such as AXA, Bupa, and MSIG.
What you’ll do
- Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop solutions
- Plan and design business processes and system modifications
- Gather business requirements through work sessions and interviews, then document them
- Create test case scenarios and monitor testing of business applications
- Develop business requirements documents and user stories
- Plan, allocate, and monitor work of other business analysts
- Provide time estimates for project-related tasks
- Support QA, UAT, and release phases through defect analysis

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a business analyst
- A degree in business, IT, or a relevant field
- Previous experience in the health insurance industry
- Knowledge of business analysis concepts including requirements definition and Agile prioritization
- Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be based in Canada
