About the role
This is a 3-month on-site contract in Toronto for a senior business systems analyst managing requirements on large, complex projects. It suits an experienced BA comfortable with data analysis, stakeholder management and collaboration tooling like JIRA and Confluence. The role is staffed through Mindlance and applicants are asked to send a resume directly to the recruiter.
What you’ll do
- Manage requirements on large, complex projects with progressively increasing responsibility
- Plan and prioritize requirements, analyze stakeholders and estimate effort
- Work with datasets and perform data analysis
- Use JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint and other collaboration tools
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate across the project
- Work independently, take ownership and manage competing deadlines
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years as a business analyst with progressively increasing responsibility on large, complex projects
- Expertise in requirements planning, prioritization, stakeholder analysis and effort estimation
- Proficiency with Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile methodologies
- Proven experience working with datasets and data analysis
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint and other collaboration tools
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, organizational and time management skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Palo Alto's XSOAR system
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Physical security and cybersecurity domain knowledge or project experience
- Advanced facilitation and consensus-building skills
- Exposure to enterprise architecture or solution design methodologies
What’s on offer
- $50-$63 per hour
- 3-month contract, on-site in Toronto, 40 hours per week
