About the role
This is a fully remote senior business analyst role at CoverGo, an insurtech platform, based anywhere in Canada. It suits an experienced BA with health insurance industry background who can translate business requirements into system design and oversee testing. CoverGo builds a no-code insurance platform used by enterprise clients including AXA, Bupa and MSIG.
What you’ll do
- Work with clients and technical teams to identify business problems and analytical solutions.
- Design business processes and system modifications.
- Gather and document complex business requirements through interviews and work sessions.
- Create test case scenarios and oversee testing to verify requirements are met.
- Develop business requirements documents and user stories.
- Plan and allocate work of other business analysts.
- Support QA, UAT and release phases via defect analysis and change maintenance.
- Provide time estimates for project-related tasks.

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- A degree in Business, IT or a relevant field.
- Previous experience in the health insurance industry required.
- Knowledge of Agile approach to prioritizing work into epics and sprints.
- Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment.
- Business analysis skills including facilitation and requirements gathering.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Must be based in Canada.
Nice to have
- Insurtech experience.
- Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III.
- Technical writing skills.
