About the role
Invivyd is hiring a remote National Account Director in the Western United States to lead institutional engagement and contracting with major integrated delivery networks and academic medical centers. This director-level role suits a pharmaceutical or biotechnology account leader with at least 10 years of market-access, institutional-network, or account-management experience. The director will improve product access, navigate reimbursement and procurement structures, and coordinate cross-functional execution across large health systems.
What you’ll do
- Create account strategies and business plans for national health systems.
- Assess payer, institutional, economic, policy, and competitive access conditions.
- Develop data-backed access recommendations for internal leadership.
- Build relationships with pharmacy leaders, medical directors, clinical stakeholders, and P&T committee members.
- Lead institutional contract negotiations and manage contract lifecycles.
- Navigate buy-and-bill, medical-benefit, pharmacy-benefit, ASP, WAC, and 340B pathways.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with targeted health systems.
- Coordinate market access, medical affairs, sales, legal, trade, reimbursement, and patient-support teams.
- Prepare health systems for future pipeline assets.
- Travel up to 60% for account, field, and internal planning activities.

- A bachelor's degree.
- 10 or more years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology account-management, market-access, or institutional-network-management experience.
- Experience launching products or complex biologics in specialized or rapid-response therapeutic categories.
- Active access to pharmacy directors, medical directors, and influential decision-makers in major health systems, IDNs, or payer accounts.
- Knowledge of buy-and-bill biologics, ASP, WAC, and 340B pricing models.
- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and guide cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to travel up to 60%.
Nice to have
- A master's degree or advanced clinical or business qualification such as an MBA, PharmD, MHA, or MS.
What’s on offer
- Expected full-time base-salary range of $184,000-$245,000 per year.
- Eligibility for annual short-term incentives and annual long-term incentives, including equity.
