About the role
This is a senior lease-accounting role in Dallas for an accountant with roughly 3–5 or more years of accounting experience. You will manage operational accounting for CoreWeave's lease portfolio, including journal entries, reconciliations, close work, and contract reviews under ASC 842. The role combines detailed ledger ownership with collaboration across Legal, FP&A, Operations, and Treasury.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and post lease-related journal entries.
- Reconcile lease accounts during month-end close.
- Maintain schedules for lease recognition, remeasurement, and modification events.
- Review network-service and other contracts for embedded leases.
- Prepare lease-account analytics and explain variances.
- Work with Legal, FP&A, and Operations on lease assessments and amendments.
- Prepare audit support documentation.
- Improve the efficiency and scalability of lease-accounting processes.

- Working knowledge of ASC 842.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong Excel and ERP-system skills.
- Careful organization and the ability to manage multiple month-end priorities.
- Effective cross-functional communication.
Nice to have
- CPA qualification or active CPA pursuit.
- Experience with lease-accounting software such as CoStar or NetSuite.
- Public accounting experience.
- Experience in a high-growth technology, cloud infrastructure, or data-center company.
