About the role
This is a contract Business Analyst role supporting a large-scale Clinical Information Solution and digital health transformation program, working remotely from Canada with monthly travel to New Brunswick. It suits a senior healthcare business analyst who can translate clinical and operational needs into BI requirements, reporting specifications, and KPIs across multiple stakeholder organizations. The engagement is a 2-year contract with two optional 1-year extensions, starting around September 28, 2026.
What you’ll do
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions across healthcare organizations
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, clinical, and BI requirements
- Document current-state and future-state workflows, data sources, and reporting processes
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and reporting specifications
- Define and document KPIs, performance indicators, business rules, and data definitions
- Facilitate workshops, governance meetings, and strategy sessions
- Support design and implementation of BI dashboards and data products
- Lead or support UAT, data validation, and quality assurance activities
What they’re looking for
- University degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, IT, Health Sciences, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive Canadian experience in hospital, digital health, or healthcare transformation
- Experience supporting large-scale Clinical Information System implementations or provincial healthcare modernization
- 8+ years translating clinical, operational, and business requirements into BI requirements
- Strong experience with BI/analytics, KPI definition, data dictionaries, and requirements gathering
- Must be available to travel to New Brunswick at least once per month
Nice to have
- 6+ years coordinating multi-organization workshops and governance sessions
- 8+ years of presentation, communication, and facilitation experience with executives and clinicians
- French and English bilingual proficiency
- Healthcare, hospital, or public-sector experience
