About the role
This is a senior business analyst role at Colliers in Toronto, working hybrid, for someone experienced in bridging business stakeholders and technology teams. The person hired will gather requirements, document processes, and lead Agile delivery and user acceptance testing for business solutions across the organization. What you’ll do
- Improve business processes and deliver business solutions across the organization
- Act as a bridge between business units and technology teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational needs
- Document business requirements through research and facilitated discussions
- Analyze business scenarios involving people, processes, technology, and data
- Produce and maintain documentation including process flows and use cases
- Translate business needs into user stories with acceptance criteria
- Clarify requirements and prioritize development efforts during Agile sprints
- Manage analysis efforts for small to medium projects
- Lead user acceptance testing and facilitate stakeholder sign-off
- Support change management including training and communications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Management, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in a business analysis role with complex initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and business modeling skills
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications for IT teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Experience with requirement management tools
- Basic to intermediate SQL query writing skills
- Current authorization to work in Canada full-time
