About the role
This is a Senior Engineer II role in New York for an experienced software engineer building systems that support the CoreWeave Cloud Platform. You will lead product engineering initiatives, design distributed services, write and review software, and mentor other engineers. The role permits telecommuting 20% of the time within normal commuting distance of CoreWeave's New York office.

- A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering or a related field.
- At least eight years of software engineering experience.
- At least seven years writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
- At least five years writing maintainable Python or Go code.
- At least five years mentoring junior engineers.
- At least five years leading product engineering initiatives.
- At least five years writing technical specifications for distributed systems.
- At least five years designing and implementing high-performance APIs with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
- At least five years developing, deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
- Eligibility to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. regulations.
