About the role
This is an in-house capital-markets legal role for a transactional lawyer based in Livingston, New Jersey or New York, New York. You'll advise CoreWeave on public and private debt and equity offerings, M&A, strategic investments and related corporate matters. The role suits a lawyer who can work independently, manage outside counsel and balance legal risk with business objectives.
What you’ll do
- Support capital-markets transactions, M&A and strategic investments.
- Draft, negotiate and review transaction documents.
- Advise on deal structure and transaction strategy.
- Conduct and support due diligence and ongoing compliance.
- Partner with Corporate Development, Treasury, Tax, Accounting and Finance.
- Manage post-closing legal obligations.
- Coordinate efficiently with outside counsel.
- Support other legal initiatives as needed.
What they’re looking for
- At least five years of relevant transactional experience.
- Experience focused on corporate capital markets, M&A and securities.
- A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active admission to at least one state bar.
- Strong drafting, legal-interpretation and project-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and operate autonomously.
- Strong communication and cross-functional relationship-building ability.
- Practical judgment under time pressure.
Nice to have
- Admission in New York, New Jersey, California, Washington, D.C. or Washington.
- In-house experience at a high-growth technology company or public company.
- Prior experience at a top law firm.
- Experience advising on strategic investments and sophisticated corporate transactions.

- The base salary range is $157,000–$210,000 per year.
