  • Improve CI/CD throughput, build and test times, deployment safety, rollback, and release orchestration.
  • Design services, APIs, SDKs, and abstractions for internal engineering workflows.
  • Lead cross-team initiatives that improve velocity, quality, and reliability.
  • Solve distributed-systems problems involving performance, concurrency, scalability, and failure handling.
  • Set standards for maintainability, testability, observability, and system design.
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, SRE, and product engineering teams.
  • Mentor senior engineers and develop technical leadership.

What they’re looking for

  • Ten or more years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong Go skills and experience shipping production services in cloud-native environments.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience defining technical strategy across complex, cross-team domains.
  • Deep expertise in APIs, service architecture, data models, abstractions, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Strong Kubernetes knowledge and modern software-delivery experience.
  • Experience designing developer-facing platforms, APIs, CLIs, SDKs, or workflow systems.
  • A record of organizational influence and mentoring senior engineers.

Nice to have

  • Expertise in build systems, test infrastructure, CI/CD, remote execution, caching, artifacts, or developer environments.
  • Large-scale distributed services for high-throughput engineering workflows.
  • AI-native developer tooling, LLM workflows, agentic frameworks, MCP-style tools, or governed developer agents.
  • Kubernetes operators, CRDs, or control-plane development.
  • Cloud infrastructure, hyperscale, or HPC experience.
  • Container runtimes, OCI standards, or artifact distribution at scale.
