This is a full-time Operations Accounting Inventory Manager role based in Dallas, Texas. You’ll lead global inventory-accounting operations, support data-center inventory controls, and maintain accurate financial reporting during month-end and year-end close. The role suits an experienced accounting manager with at least eight years of public-company, multinational, or Big Four experience and strong inventory-accounting knowledge.
What you’ll do
- Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Act as the finance contact for accounting-system matters.
- Manage, mentor, and develop team members.
- Resolve reconciliation discrepancies and outstanding items.
- Provide balance-sheet movements for cash-flow reporting.
- Review monthly results and compare actual performance with budget alongside FP&A.
- Support quarterly and annual SEC reporting disclosures.
- Design and improve inventory-accounting processes and controls.
- Work with Fixed Assets because inventory later becomes fixed assets.
- Support audits, tax work, intercompany reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Analyze variances, risks, trends, and cost-control opportunities.
- Improve operational efficiency and accounting processes.

- Knowledge of inventory accounting in manufacturing, plant, or warehouse environments.
- Working knowledge of fixed-assets accounting and related processes.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and time management.
- The ability to manage multiple projects under deadline pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work through complex operational issues.
- US work authorization without current or future sponsorship requirements.
