About the role
This is a legal-operations leadership role for someone with at least 10 years of experience, based in Livingston, New Jersey, New York or Washington, D.C. You’ll lead the systems, processes, vendors, budgets, metrics and AI-enabled workflows that support CoreWeave’s Legal and Government Affairs organisation. The role includes managing a legal-operations team and helping the function scale during rapid growth and public-company expansion.
What you’ll do
- Own the selection, configuration and adoption of legal platforms.
- Translate business needs into systems, workflows, routing processes and dashboards.
- Guide responsible AI use in legal workflows, including governance and data classification.
- Manage outside counsel, vendor onboarding, invoices, billing compliance, rates and evaluations.
- Coordinate the legal budget, forecasts and accruals.
- Create executive reporting on cycle time, spend, outcomes and adoption.
- Set the legal-operations strategy, operating model, roadmap and investment priorities.
- Lead change management for process and technology adoption.
- Provide operational support across Legal and Government Affairs areas.
- Hire, coach and develop the legal-operations team.
- Partner with finance, procurement, IT, security, privacy, compliance and business teams.

- Experience in a high-growth technology, cloud or infrastructure company.
- Experience leading teams and scaling legal-operations functions.
- Ownership of legal technology, including CLM and AI-enabled tools.
- Experience with outside-counsel billing, e-billing, vendors, budgets and accruals.
- Experience creating scalable processes, self-service models and risk-tiered approvals.
- Strong legal-operations metrics, OKR and KPI skills.
- Ability to turn strategy into measurable initiatives and completed execution.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influence.
Nice to have
- Public-company experience.
- Experience with Ironclad or comparable CLM systems.
- Familiarity with Asana, Salesforce, Brightflag and related reporting sources.
- Experience implementing responsible AI governance.

- Base salary of $165,000–$242,000 per year.
