About the role
This is an onsite Data Center Technician role at CoreWeave's Afton, Texas facility. You will troubleshoot and repair server and network hardware, maintain infrastructure, install equipment, and support reliable 24/7 data-center operations. The job includes possible rotating on-call work, emergency response within 60 minutes while on call, and travel of up to 10 percent.
What you’ll do
- Maintain data-center availability and reliability.
- Diagnose and repair hardware and network problems.
- Investigate the root causes of hardware and software failures.
- Train internal teams and create technical documentation.
- Provide hands-on support to data-center teams.
- Write scripts for server and network-hardware updates.
- Track inventory and assemble and install equipment.
- Maintain testing and tooling equipment.
- Travel to other data-center locations when business needs require it.
- Respond to equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes during scheduled on-call periods.
