Data Center OFCI Quality Manager

About the role

This is a quality-management leadership role covering supplier manufacturing, logistics, installation readiness, and operational handoff across CoreWeave data-center locations in Livingston, New Jersey; New York, New York; Sunnyvale, California; and Bellevue, Washington. It suits quality leaders with at least 8 years of experience who can build quality systems, manage supplier performance, and reduce defects across complex infrastructure programs. You will set quality governance, lead investigations and corrective actions, and report operational quality metrics to senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Define quality standards, acceptance criteria, inspection plans, and governance processes.
  • Establish escalation, non-conformance, deviation, corrective-action, and lessons-learned workflows.
  • Qualify suppliers and manage their ongoing quality performance.
  • Conduct supplier audits, factory acceptance tests, and manufacturing-readiness reviews.
  • Drive supplier corrective and preventive actions to measurable closure.
  • Include quality requirements in sourcing documents, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Confirm equipment is complete, compliant, and ready for installation.
  • Investigate field defects, non-conformances, installation deviations, and missing documentation.
  • Feed field lessons back into supplier requirements and sourcing processes.
  • Track first-pass yield, defect rate, NCR closure time, and supplier scorecards.
  • Maintain traceable quality records in QMS, ERP, and project systems.
  • Use statistical analysis and root-cause methods to drive improvement.

What they’re looking for

  • At least 8 years of experience in quality management, quality engineering, or supplier quality.
  • Experience owning QMS programs across multiple suppliers.
  • Experience with supplier audits, FAT/SAT, and CAPA programs.
  • Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, RCA, and SPC methods.
  • Experience with complex mechanical and electrical systems such as generators, switchgear, cooling equipment, and power distribution.
  • Ability to connect quality metrics with operational and financial outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or a related technical discipline.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40–60% to suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and construction sites.

Nice to have

  • A master's or doctoral degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • ASQ CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with hyperscale or AI-focused data-center deployments.
  • Experience with global, multi-region supplier networks.
  • Knowledge of critical-infrastructure regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with QMS, ERP/MRP, Power BI, or SQL tools.
