About the role
This is a remote Technical Product Manager role for someone who can own a regulated, AI-enabled investing product from strategy through launch. You will work globally with engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury and finance teams to make money movement correct, auditable and understandable. The role requires technical product judgment, familiarity with regulated domains and practical experience evaluating AI features.
What you’ll do
- Own a product vertical, its outcomes, metrics, backlog and acceptance criteria.
- Shape technical designs covering system boundaries, ledgers, reconciliation, external rails, retries, refunds, security and recovery.
- Make trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability and user experience.
- Treat licensing, KYC, screening, transaction monitoring, privacy and data residency as product constraints.
- Define where AI can act, where human review remains necessary and how performance is evaluated.
- Ensure AI-generated numbers can be traced to source records.
- Release features behind flags as partner and regulatory requirements are cleared.
- Coordinate work across engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury and finance.

- Significant experience owning a complex technical product end to end.
- Strong judgment under ambiguity and the ability to balance ambition with technical, regulatory and operational realities.
- Solid understanding of system design, data stores, queues, workflows, APIs, failure modes and concurrency.
- Ability to read, review and challenge technical designs without needing to write production code.
- Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance or another regulated or high-consequence domain, or a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and measurable evaluation approaches.
- Understanding of model uncertainty, data gaps, drift and cases where AI should not be used.
- Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional leaders.

- Experience shipping AI-heavy consumer products.
- Experience defining evaluation metrics for machine-learning or LLM systems.
- Experience with AI user experience and failure handling.
