About the role
This is a fully remote Engineering Manager role leading a distributed team building consumer financial software, including a travel foreign-exchange application. You'll combine people management with technical delivery, architecture leadership, and operational responsibility for software used by millions in Southeast Asia. What you’ll do
- Coach and manage frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers.
- Own delivery for major product areas.
- Turn customer problems into technical plans with product and engineering partners.
- Guide architecture across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
- Set expectations for testing, security, observability, and production resilience.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation.
- Support incident response and root-cause analysis.

- Prior experience managing engineers and owning delivery results.
- Technical breadth across application development, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
- Experience taking products from concept through launch and stable operation.

- Strong product judgment, ownership, and comfort with ambiguity.
