This is a remote Lead Engineer position for a hands-on technical leader working with a distributed international team. You will design and ship complex systems, remain involved in implementation and production support, and help other engineers grow. What you’ll do
- Lead architecture and delivery for major engineering initiatives.
- Design maintainable systems across application, API, database and infrastructure layers.
- Continue coding through prototyping, implementation, debugging and production problem-solving.
- Choose technical approaches that balance delivery speed, scale, reliability and maintainability.
- Convert ambiguous problems into clear engineering plans.
- Raise standards for testing, security, observability and code quality.
- Review technical designs and code and provide useful feedback.
- Mentor engineers and improve team capability.

- Improve tooling, automation and development practices.
