About the role
This is a remote Engineering Manager role for a technical people leader managing engineers who build products used across the region. You will own team performance and engineering delivery while staying close to architecture, code reviews, debugging and production outcomes. The role is globally remote and requires strong English communication across distributed teams.
What you’ll do
- Manage engineers across frontend, backend and full-stack development.
- Own delivery for major product areas while protecting reliability and technical quality.
- Translate ambiguous product problems into focused technical execution with partner teams.
- Lead architecture decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure and customer-facing systems.
- Set standards for design, testing, observability, security and production reliability.
- Stay involved through architecture reviews, code reviews and critical technical decisions.
- Coach engineers, provide feedback and manage performance.
- Address capability and execution gaps early.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling and automation.
- Own incidents and ensure recurring production problems are resolved.
- Build a culture centered on ownership, speed, technical quality and continuous improvement.

- A software engineering background with experience shipping production systems.
- Experience managing or leading software engineers and owning delivery.
- Technical depth across areas such as backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.

- A record of taking products or systems from concept through production.
- Comfort reviewing designs, challenging decisions and debugging production issues.
- Strong people leadership, coaching and performance-management skills.

- A strong ownership mindset for delivery and operational problems.
