About the role
A remote senior technical account manager role for Airbyte, open from Canada and the United States. You will help enterprise customers implement and adopt data integration products while acting as their advocate inside the company.
What you’ll do
- Lead and execute customer technical projects including implementation and deployment of Airbyte solutions
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, pods, networking, storage, and resource allocation in production
- Diagnose and resolve complex data movement issues across databases, CDC, and replication setups
- Guide customers integrating LLM-based tooling into existing data infrastructure alongside Airbyte connectors
- Work directly with clients' technical teams to tailor solutions to their needs
- Collaborate with Sales to identify growth opportunities within customer accounts
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to surface customer needs and influence the roadmap
- Create technical content such as blog posts, demos, and conference talks
- Evangelize best practices for building AI-ready data stacks
What they’re looking for
- 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as technical account manager, solutions architect, professional services engineer, or consultant
- Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments with troubleshooting capability
- 2+ years in a startup environment, preferably modern data infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with one or more AI frameworks
- Exposure to AI agent frameworks and prompt engineering practices
- Strong customer orientation focused on seamless onboarding and ongoing technical success
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
