About the role
GE Aerospace is recruiting a Senior Services Manager to lead contract management and sustainment operations for the LM2500 naval gas turbine fleet in Canada. This remote role combines program governance, contract administration, and technical liaison responsibilities across defence and commercial stakeholders. Suitable for professionals with strong backgrounds in gas-turbine engine support and large-scale contract management.
What you’ll do
- Lead pre- and post-contract administration including terms, conditions, claims management, risk modelling, and contract estimating.
- Own In-Service Support Contract productivity strategy and execution for LM2500 fleet sustainment.
- Provide technical leadership and program governance for fleet sustainment activities.
- Oversee contract costs, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Serve as the primary programme liaison with Defence stakeholders.
- Maintain Defence budget awareness and support long-range fleet coordination.
- Lead LM2500 maintenance, repair, and overhaul planning acting as engineering liaison between depot management and Naval Defence contracting.
- Manage vendor contracts and subcontractor component repair activity.
- Coordinate technical execution and sustainment decisions among the Royal Canadian Navy, GE Aerospace, and licensed MRO resources.
- Develop and manage customer training programmes.
- Lead spares and materiel forecasting, control, procurement, and reporting.
- Analyse contract trends, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.

- Five years' experience as a programme manager of LM2500 Gas Turbine Assembly maintenance support on contracts of at least $5M CAD (with different contracts of at least $3M CAD each as proof), maintaining current PMI Project Management Professional certification; or ten years' experience as a project/programme manager o
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Strong LM2500 technical background in marine propulsion, power generation field service, naval marine engineering, or merchant navy experience.
- Current Canadian Defense Security Clearance (NV1) or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to provide academic qualifications, experience records, and references demonstrating where, when, and how requirements are met.
