About the role
This is a contract business analyst role at 3Pillar Global, working with a client platform in healthcare/clinical research, translating business needs into engineering deliverables. It suits an experienced business analyst who can facilitate agile ceremonies, write clear requirements and support UAT, working remotely within Canada despite the on-site tag on the listing.
What you’ll do
- Facilitate communication with client project stakeholders on status and requirements
- Elicit, document and manage business requirements from product owners and stakeholders
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning and stakeholder review sessions
- Conduct gap analyses and workflow mapping on the platform
- Support UAT planning, test script preparation and stakeholder sign-off
- Produce BRDs, process flows, data dictionaries and use case diagrams
What they’re looking for
- Experience eliciting and documenting requirements in a software product environment
- Ability to author user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs and process documentation
- Experience facilitating agile ceremonies and managing backlog in Jira and Confluence
- Experience supporting UAT planning and execution
- 3+ years of business analysis experience in a software product or professional services environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- English proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience in clinical trials, healthcare IT or regulated software environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11)
- CBAP or equivalent business analysis certification
- Familiarity with API concepts
- Experience in a multi-vendor delivery model
