About the role
This is a full-time remote United States Senior Director role for a biopharma leader with deep drug-development, transformation, and program-management experience. You’ll direct high-priority AI and operational transformation programs across Development, IT, and executive stakeholders, from prioritization through adoption and value measurement. The role carries responsibility for delivery discipline, compliance oversight, and responsible AI deployment.
What you’ll do
- Prioritize AI and transformation initiatives based on value, feasibility, risk, and strategic fit.
- Lead cross-functional programs from initiation through deployment and handoff.
- Manage scope, budget, timelines, staffing, dependencies, and program risks.
- Define value measures and report realized efficiency, quality, and business impact.
- Oversee deployed AI performance, adoption, drift, and compliance.
- Lead change management, governance forums, executive reporting, and delivery capability building.
What they’re looking for
- A bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, technology, or business discipline.
- At least 12 years in biopharma, life sciences development, R&D operations, or technology transformation.
- At least five years leading large cross-functional programs and teams.
- Success delivering enterprise-scale initiatives and measurable outcomes.
- Working knowledge of AI and automation for development workflows.
- Strong knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity, and computerized-system validation expectations.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead across functions.
Nice to have
- An MS, MBA, or PhD.
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or comparable project-management certification.
- Change-management certification such as Prosci.

- Annual base pay of US$242,800 to US$300,000.
