About the role
This remote Senior Director of Security Operations role leads the organization-wide security defense, visibility, detection, threat-hunting, and incident-response strategy for Super Technologies. You will report to the CISO, lead teams across security operations, and be accountable for implementing controls across a multinational business with significant financial exposure to attacks. The role requires deep technical credibility together with director-level leadership and board-facing communication.
What you’ll do
- Set the defensive-control strategy across business units and countries.
- Build the investment case for WAF, EDR, endpoint, network, and cloud controls.
- Define company-wide visibility standards across cloud, Kubernetes, endpoints, and SaaS.
- Connect detection engineering, threat hunting, and incident response into one operating model.
- Lead teams covering incident response, threat hunting, and detection engineering.
- Represent security operations posture to executive leadership and the board.
- Drive hiring, tooling, resourcing, and security-accountability decisions.

- At least 10 years in security operations, incident response, threat hunting, or detection engineering.
- Director or senior-director strategy experience in a multi-country, multi-business-unit organization.
- A record of securing leadership approval for security investments.
- Hands-on fluency with EDR, SIEM, and WAF platforms.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security services, Kubernetes security, and CSPM or CWPP tools.
- Deep incident-response experience including forensics, containment, and identity or credential response.
- Knowledge of detection engineering, threat-intelligence integration, and attack-surface management.
- Experience hiring and developing senior technical talent.
- Executive presence and the ability to communicate with boards and senior leaders.
Nice to have
- Security-operations experience in gaming, fintech, payments, or another regulated or high-fraud-risk industry.
- Experience with CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Wiz.
