About the role
This is a senior technology leadership role building and scaling Global Development technology capabilities within a Global Capability Center. Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is hiring in Hyderabad, India, for a hybrid role. The director leads delivery of technology, data, AI and digital solutions supporting Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical Affairs and Drug Safety.
What you’ll do
- Lead and scale the Global Development Digital & Technology organization in the India GCC
- Build technology capabilities through hiring, onboarding and organizational design
- Partner with global leadership to define business-aligned digital strategies
- Lead technology, architecture, data and AI solution delivery across Agile and traditional models
- Drive delivery governance, performance metrics and process improvement
- Establish inspection-ready validation programs aligned with GxP requirements
- Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, ICH guidelines
- Drive adoption of AI and Generative AI capabilities across the drug development lifecycle
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or related field
- Significant leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated industries
- Deep knowledge of drug development functions including Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical Affairs and Drug Safety
- Experience leading large-scale technology organizations and global delivery teams
- Strong understanding of CTMS, EDC, Regulatory Information Management, Safety systems
- Strong knowledge of GxP compliance, CSV, ALCOA+ data integrity principles
- Experience establishing or expanding Global Capability Center organizations
- Experience evaluating and governing AI/Generative AI solutions in regulated environments
Nice to have
- Advanced degree such as MS, MBA or PharmD
- Experience leading global digital transformation in Clinical Development or Research organizations
- Experience within highly matrixed global organizations across multiple geographies
