About the role
This is a senior security risk analyst role at Twilio, remote and based in Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta, Canada. It suits an experienced risk management professional who can mature Twilio's security risk posture by facilitating risk identification and treatment with Product and Engineering teams. The role sits within Twilio's One Twilio Risk Management program.
What you’ll do
- Execute and improve daily operations of the risk management program, including automated operations for cyber risk
- Manage and maintain risk registers to track key risk indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risks are communicated and actionable
- Review and assess risk treatment strategies and recommend solutions
- Prepare and deliver risk reports, dashboards and presentations to stakeholders
- Analyze risk data to assess trends and develop predictive models
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support compliance assessments
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years of risk management experience working with security-centric risk and compliance frameworks
- Experience maturing a risk framework such as NIST RMF, COSO ERM or ISO 31000
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration to establish strategic direction
- Experience designing and executing qualitative and quantitative risk analyses
- Experience translating vulnerabilities and control gaps into clear risk statements
- Track record managing large-scale, multi-entity, cross-functional risk assessments
- Experience working with technical security and engineering teams on control solutions
- Bias toward automation and tooling, and experience leveraging AI to streamline risk operations
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Cybersecurity or related field
- Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP or FRM
- Strong analytical skills interpreting complex data
- Strong proficiency with enterprise AI and GRC tooling
- Experience with project management across multiple teams
