About the role
This is a technical and functional support role for SimCorp Dimension, supporting investment and portfolio accounting systems in Toronto. It suits an IT support analyst with SimCorp Dimension experience who can handle mission-critical, time-sensitive batch processing and after-hours on-call rotations. TekWissen is staffing this contract position, which runs 12 to 18 months.
What you’ll do
- Support and integrate investment and portfolio accounting systems built on SimCorp Dimension
- Configure Batch/DFS and DEX data extract setups within the application
- Set up and maintain static data including security, pricing and model portfolios
- Work across Performance, Treasury and Accounting modules
- Handle corporate action events
- Support the full trade life cycle including settlements and custody holdings reconciliations
- Identify, track and resolve technical issues found through testing and daily use
- Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours support of end-of-day batch cycles
- Monitor application performance and partner with Technology Services to resolve SLA issues
- Define and collect metrics on application and database performance

- Knowledge of Batch/DFS and DEX configuration
- Experience with static data setup and maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of Performance, Treasury and Accounting modules
- Experience handling corporate action events
- Understanding of the full trade life cycle including settlements and custody reconciliations
- Experience supporting mission-critical, time-sensitive processes
- Broader knowledge of Oracle, Linux/Windows scripting, IBM DataStage, IBM WebSphere MQ, Software AG webMethods
- Experience with virtualized server monitoring tools such as VMware vSphere
- Experience with application performance monitoring and tuning
