About the role
This is a Business System Analyst role at TD combining data design expertise with business analysis, based in Toronto, Ontario. The role works within an Agile team alongside Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Team Leads.
What you’ll do
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas and data dictionaries
- Translate business needs into technical data solutions on the Microsoft Azure stack
- Design and implement data warehousing, ETL processes and data pipelines
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Team Leads in Agile ceremonies
- Maintain requirements documentation, data flow diagrams and technical specifications
What they’re looking for
- 2+ years with Microsoft Azure Data Lake ingestion and curation processes
- Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
- Expertise designing and implementing ETL processes, including SSIS
- Familiarity with snowflake and star schema data warehouse models
- Advanced SQL skills including query optimization and troubleshooting
- Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering and gap analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
What’s on offer
- $69,700 - $98,400 CAD
