About the role
This is a project management role leading end-to-end ERP implementation and consulting projects for mid-sized and enterprise clients, open to candidates in the US or Canada working virtually. It suits an experienced ERP project manager who can run planning, stakeholder coordination, testing, cutover and post-go-live support for complex client engagements. What you’ll do
- Develop comprehensive project plans and work breakdown structures covering scope, budget and timelines
- Bridge communication between executive sponsors, steering committees and vendor teams
- Identify implementation risks such as data migration issues and establish mitigation plans
- Manage system testing, data migration cycles and go-live/cutover execution
- Establish hypercare support after go-live and transition to the regular support desk
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of consultants, developers and QA resources
- Facilitate workshops, status meetings and executive steering committee updates
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the ERP implementation methodology
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, at least 3 focused on ERP implementations
- Track record delivering full-cycle ERP implementations from discovery through hypercare
- Experience with at least one major ERP platform such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Syspro, Infor, Epicor or Sage
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid)
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel to client sites, typically 10-20%
Nice to have
- Experience implementing SYSPRO ERP
- PMP, PRINCE2 or other relevant certifications
- Prior consulting background at a Big 4, mid-market or boutique ERP firm
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution or wholesale verticals
- Knowledge of SQL, data migration tools, integration platforms like Boomi or MuleSoft, and AI or reporting tools
