About the role
This is a fully remote product manager and software development role for Cooperative Technologies, open to candidates in Canada. You'll own the roadmap for a specialized insurance-exchange SaaS product while also designing and coding enhancements across its .NET and Microsoft data stack. What you’ll do
- Own the 1035YellowPages product roadmap and prioritize client-driven work.
- Design and implement enhancements in C# and .NET.
- Build database objects, ASP.NET Web Forms features, and WCF web services.
- Investigate defects and performance problems across the application stack.
- Coordinate client onboarding and provide technical support.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
- Coordinate releases and client migrations in a small-team environment.
- Present roadmap priorities to company leadership and work with client-facing teams.
What they’re looking for
- At least ten years of combined experience across software development, product management, and client communication.
- Experience with C#, .NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, SQL, and VB 6.
- Knowledge of WinForms, ASP.NET Web Forms, WCF, Windows Services, HTML, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server, and T-SQL.
- Experience managing SaaS or web-service products from roadmap through release.
- A record of coordinating product releases and client migrations.
- Strong written and verbal communication with enterprise clients.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of life insurance or financial services, especially annuity exchange workflows.
- Azure DevOps, REST API, or ASP.NET MVC experience.
- Experience managing legacy end-of-life migrations.
- Familiarity with FogBugz or a similar issue tracker.
