About the role
This is a senior-level product management role at Writer, based in Seattle or San Francisco, for someone who can own ambiguous, high-impact product initiatives spanning multiple teams. Writer builds an enterprise generative AI platform used by companies like Mars, Marriott, Uber and Vanguard. The role reports to the VP of Product and acts as a force-multiplier across the product organization.
What you’ll do
- Drive high-impact product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration
- Shape product strategy and roadmap with the VP of Product
- Spend time with enterprise buyers and users to validate problem-solution fit
- Partner with engineering and design on requirements and technical tradeoffs
- Align cross-functional stakeholders across go-to-market, sales and executive leadership
- Define and own success metrics for your areas
- Mentor and coach other product managers
What they’re looking for
- 8+ years of product management experience owning and shipping complex, high-impact products
- Senior or staff-level experience operating autonomously across ambiguous, multi-team problem spaces
- Technical credibility to engage with engineers on system design, LLMs and data architecture
- Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution
- Exceptional communication across technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have
- Experience building products powered by LLMs or large-scale AI/ML systems
- Background in enterprise software or developer platforms
- Familiarity with AI governance and guardrails in regulated environments
