What you’ll do
- Analyze operational data for trends, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Support workforce planning by reviewing headcount, workload, utilization and staffing gaps.
- Conduct cost studies and identify savings or allocation improvements.
- Build dashboards, KPI reports and management presentations.
- Gather, validate and clean data from multiple sources.
- Translate business questions into analyses, reports and recommendations.
- Compare actual results with budgets or targets and explain variances.
- Support forecasting, scenario planning and recurring-report automation.
- Present findings and help teams make data-informed decisions.

- At least one year in business analysis, data analysis, operations analytics or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, charts and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of SQL and a visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of KPIs, cost structures and operational performance.
- Ability to work with large datasets and communicate insights clearly.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business, statistics, mathematics or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience with workforce or manpower planning.
- Exposure to cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting or financial analysis.
- Python or R for data analysis.
- Lean or Six Sigma process-improvement knowledge.
- Experience automating dashboards and recurring management reports.
- Graduation from an NIT or another reputed engineering institution.
