About the role
This is a solar-project drafting role for a technical candidate who will prepare engineering drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted installations in Thoppumpady, Kochi. You will use AutoCAD to create layouts, single-line diagrams, cable routes, and revisions for solar EPC projects. The role suits candidates with drafting knowledge who can work closely with project engineers and site teams.
What you’ll do
- Prepare 2D layouts and technical drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Create module layouts, electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and cable-routing drawings.
- Develop and revise drawings in AutoCAD.
- Incorporate site measurements, engineering inputs, and design changes.
- Maintain accurate dimensions and project drawing standards.
- Organise drawing revisions and technical documentation.
- Assist engineers with drawing-related requirements.
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing issues.
