This onsite Housing Support Worker position serves tenants at the Nikao supportive-housing site in Nanaimo, British Columbia. What you’ll do
- Build, document, and assess individual tenant support plans.
- Deliver life-skills, financial-navigation, and case-management support.
- Monitor tenant wellbeing and respond to emergencies.
- Administer naloxone when overdose response is needed.
- Coordinate tenant referrals and support programming.
- Work with property management on maintenance and pest-control preparation.
- Keep records, logs, statistics, and incident reports current.

- Have experience supporting people facing substance use, mental-health challenges, homelessness, or housing barriers.
- Understand psychosocial rehabilitation, Housing First, and harm reduction.

- Hold First Aid and naloxone-administration training.
- Pass a Vulnerable Sectors Criminal Record Check.
