About the role
This is a Workday EDM Support Consultant role at Kainos, delivering post-deployment support and services to global EDM customers, remote from Canada. The consultant blends customer-facing consulting with hands-on solution support, troubleshooting issues and working with product, engineering, and delivery teams. What you’ll do
- Provide configuration, troubleshooting, and advisory EDM support to customers post-deployment
- Deliver services within agreed SLAs
- Manage and prioritize incoming requests, identifying root causes
- Support recurring releases and deployments
- Collaborate across internal support teams
- Contribute to knowledge base development by documenting troubleshooting steps
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards
- Support Service Managers with customer escalations

- Some experience in a customer-facing or consulting role
- Basic understanding of Workday HCM, Financials, Payroll, or a specialist capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues independently
- Clear communicator, able to work with customers and colleagues remotely
- Able to work independently within remote teams
Nice to have
- Workday certification in HCM, Payroll, or Financials
- Awareness of ITIL or ISO-2000 principles
- Experience with JIRA Service Desk
- Experience in a support environment or post-deployment services
