About the role
Pacific Aviation is hiring an onsite Human Resources Generalist at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. This role is for an HR professional with three to five years of generalist experience who can support airline operations in Seattle and assist San Francisco HR work remotely. The position handles employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, leave administration, and engagement initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Advise employees and leaders on workplace policies, performance issues, and employee relations.
- Support investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective-action processes.
- Administer leaves, accommodations, employee records, and HRIS data.
- Assist with recruiting, interviews, job fairs, offer coordination, and onboarding.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, training, and development programs.
What they’re looking for
- Have three to five years of HR generalist experience.
- Know California employment law, wage and hour rules, and leave requirements including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and ADA.
- Have experience supporting leaders and employees in a service-oriented setting.
- Be proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Be able to prioritize competing work while maintaining strong written and verbal communication.
Nice to have
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or a comparable HR certification.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple sites.
- Bilingual language ability.
- Experience with social-media recruiting and candidate tracking.
- Above-the-wing airline operations experience.
