About the role
This is a senior machine-learning engineering role in Noida for someone with five to seven years of experience building production generative-AI systems. You'll develop RAG and agentic applications for education use cases, owning their architecture, evaluation, deployment and operating costs.
What you’ll do
- Build production LLM applications for question answering, content generation, adaptive feedback and curriculum alignment.
- Own data pipelines, retrieval, orchestration, APIs and service infrastructure.
- Create benchmarks, regression tests, human-evaluation loops and automated quality gates.
- Improve latency and cost through caching, batching, model selection and context optimization.
- Prepare multilingual and Indic-language grounding and instruction data.
- Assess open-source and closed models for domain fit, cost and production readiness.
- Track quality, reliability and performance targets across shipped features.
- Integrate open-source and sovereign LLMs into production serving frameworks.
- Fine-tune or adapt foundation models when appropriate.
What they’re looking for
- Five to seven years of experience, including production machine-learning or AI systems.
- Strong production Python skills and tested service-development practices.
- Hands-on experience shipping RAG or agentic systems.
- Experience with retrieval, orchestration, tool calling and multi-step reasoning.
- Experience building LLM evaluation and monitoring systems.
- Experience with APIs, data pipelines, deployment and production operations.
- Understanding of ML pipelines, data preparation and model deployment.
- Experience with open-source or sovereign LLMs.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure for large-scale ML and LLM serving.
Nice to have
- Fine-tuning with LoRA, QLoRA, SFT, DPO or similar methods.
- Familiarity with DeepSpeed or FSDP.
- Experience with quantization, ONNX or efficient inference serving.
