About the role
This is a full-time, fully remote Technical Director role at Nearform for someone based in the US Eastern Time Zone, working without visa sponsorship. You'd provide technical leadership across multiple client engagements, acting as the bridge between client stakeholders and delivery teams. It suits a senior technical leader with a strong consulting or SaaS background who wants to combine architecture decisions with client advisory work.
What you’ll do
- Define and communicate technical vision and best practices across projects
- Act as trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs and senior client stakeholders
- Oversee technical execution, quality and delivery risk
- Work with resourcing teams to staff the right talent on projects
- Manage project financials and identify growth opportunities
- Mentor teams and contribute to industry thought leadership
What they’re looking for
- 15+ years of technical leadership experience, ideally in consulting, SaaS or digital transformation
- Deep expertise in software architecture, cloud platforms and modern development practices
- Experience leading pre-sales, discovery and solution design discussions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with AI, databases and distributed systems
- Experience leading and mentoring senior engineering teams
- Must be based in the US Eastern Time Zone and authorized to work without sponsorship

- Background in financial oversight of technology projects
