About the role
This role owns product strategy and delivery for a pharmacy data platform, the LillyDirect Pharmacy Covered Entity Data Hub. It suits an experienced technical product owner comfortable bridging data engineering, compliance and business stakeholders in a regulated healthcare environment. The position is based at Eli Lilly's Indianapolis corporate center with a hybrid schedule.
What you’ll do
- Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the data hub
- Translate business goals into technical requirements with stakeholders
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in Jira
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning and release activities
- Coordinate onboarding of new pharmacy and covered entity data sources
- Support data ingestion, transformation, quality and observability work
- Serve as liaison between engineering, legal, privacy, security and vendor teams
- Ensure product capabilities align with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
- Support data transfer agreements and data governance reviews
- Define and monitor product success metrics and data quality standards
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field
- 5+ years as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager or Business Systems Analyst
- 3+ years working with enterprise data platforms or cloud-based data ecosystems
- Experience managing Agile delivery teams using Jira and Scrum
- Experience defining product roadmaps and managing cross-functional programs
- Experience in regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical environments
Nice to have
- Experience with pharmacy, dispensing, prescribing or telehealth data products
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data governance
- Experience with Databricks, AWS, Redshift, Snowflake or Azure Data Platform
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability
- Experience leading third-party data onboarding programs
- Understanding of tokenized data and patient identity resolution
- SAFe or Scrum Product Owner certification
