About the role
This is a fully remote lead technical project manager role based anywhere in Canada, overseeing SaaS implementations for clients in the automotive and heavy-duty industries. It suits an experienced technical project leader who manages both a team of project managers and end-to-end project delivery. The role blends technical delivery leadership, business analysis and customer relationship management.
What you’ll do
- Lead the day-to-day activities of a team of Technical Project Managers
- Manage the full lifecycle of SaaS implementation projects from initiation to post-launch support
- Define project scope, requirements, timelines and dependencies
- Drive alignment across customers, development teams, business leads and QA
- Maintain project tasks and documentation using Wrike or comparable platforms
- Act as the primary communication bridge between technical teams and external clients
- Coordinate software testing, QA milestones and customer validation activities
- Provide weekly project reporting to leadership
- Mentor project and cross-functional team members

- Proven experience leading technical or software implementation projects, ideally SaaS
- Experience managing projects across the full lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate other project managers
- Strong business analysis capabilities
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project governance
- Hands-on experience with Wrike or similar project management tools
- Strong understanding of software testing and QA processes
- Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with technical documentation, data preparation or ETL concepts
- Experience supporting clients in automotive, heavy-duty or aftermarket industries
