This is an engineering management role at Liberty Mutual leading teams responsible for the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform, based in one of the company's tech hubs including Plano, Texas. What you’ll do
- Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams responsible for the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform
- Partner with Solutions Architects and Product Owners to align priorities with the Pathfinder migration program
- Monitor team effectiveness and remove delivery roadblocks
- Coach senior engineers, Solution Engineers, Principal Software Engineers, and DBAs
- Own performance management and career development for direct reports
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and vendor coordination
- Champion Agile/SAFe practices including PI planning and retrospectives
- Contribute to financial planning and total cost of ownership for the platform

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline
- At least 5 years of experience delivering software solutions in an agile environment
- At least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong software engineering and delivery planning foundation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
