Liberty Mutual Insurance is hiring a Senior or Principal Data Solutions Analyst in the USA to steward financial data for its Finance Data Platform. This role suits data professionals who build governed data solutions, work across business and technology teams, and have experience with data management or warehousing. The analyst will translate source-data requirements into standardized downstream data and self-service reporting capabilities.
What you’ll do
- Prototype and deliver data solutions for finance stakeholders.
- Analyze source data and define transformations for standardized financial data.
- Apply metadata, lineage, hierarchy, dependency, compliance, and security principles to project work.
- Develop and test proof-of-concept solutions using financial insurance knowledge and coding skills.
- Define useful business metrics and enable self-service data consumption.
- Mentor junior associates and coordinate complex deliverables.
- Identify practical uses for generative AI in discovery, lineage, documentation, and productivity.

- Have 3 to 5 years of relevant coding experience for the Senior level.
- Have 5 to 7 years of relevant coding experience for the Principal level.
- Understand data management, data warehousing, or comparable data environments.

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- A master's degree in a related discipline.
- Experience with Python and Snowflake.
