About the role
This is a senior consulting role on KPMG Canada's Management Consulting team, focused on strategy and operations work for insurance and wealth management clients, based in Toronto. It suits an experienced management consultant with financial services background who wants to lead client workstreams and help build out a growing practice. The consultant will work across growth strategy, operating model transformation and AI-enabled business change for insurers and wealth managers.
What you’ll do
- Analyze complex business problems and translate insights into recommendations
- Lead or support client workstreams across strategy, operations and transformation
- Conduct market research, stakeholder interviews and data analysis
- Design future-state operating models, capabilities and implementation roadmaps
- Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation and technology to business performance
- Develop executive-ready presentations, deliverables and proposals
- Coach junior team members and contribute to practice growth

- Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, transformation, operations or financial services
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting or delivering strategy, operating model or transformation work
- Comfort working with data, digital tools and AI-enabled ways of working
Nice to have
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications
- Experience using generative AI tools for research, analysis or workflow automation
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, Power Platform or Copilot
