About the role
This is a senior business data analyst role for a technology organization's network and field operations teams, fully remote within the United States. It suits an experienced analyst who can turn complex datasets into dashboards, reports and actionable business recommendations. The role is recruited through Jobgether, which manages applications on behalf of the hiring company.
What you’ll do
- Partner with Network Engineering, Network Operations and Field Operations to build dashboards, reports and analytical tools
- Analyze complex datasets to investigate business questions and uncover root causes
- Apply data modeling, SQL and visualization techniques to turn raw information into actionable intelligence
- Validate findings and develop recommendations with stakeholders
- Present insights to stakeholders at different levels, adapting technical detail to the audience
- Own analytical projects end to end, including planning, execution and delivery
- Identify data quality issues and opportunities for improvement
- Continuously improve reporting and visualization solutions
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, computer science, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with datasets, data visualization, modeling and dashboards
- 3+ years of experience using data-based modeling to develop insights for stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience using SQL to build dashboards and business intelligence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience with dashboard and visualization technologies
- Strong project ownership and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery and Looker
- Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Netcracker, Axiros or Alepo
