About the role
This is an on-site Business Analyst position in Vancouver, British Columbia, supporting end-to-end implementations for banking clients. You will translate client needs into requirements and Statements of Work, coordinate engineering and testing activities, and help move projects through deployment and launch. The role suits an experienced business analyst with at least five years of relevant experience, including consulting or project management exposure.
What you’ll do
- Gather requirements through client discovery sessions.
- Write Statements of Work, requirements documents, impact analyses, and change orders.
- Define product vision and functional requirements.
- Answer engineering questions during development and configuration.
- Perform functional, cursory, and regression testing.
- Coordinate QA deployments and support client UAT.
- Manage client-facing project updates, budgets, launch plans, and implementation guides.
- Track project phases, timesheets, billing, and post-implementation support.
- Coordinate Implementation Analysts when project complexity requires additional support.

- A university degree in computer science, business, or a related IT-focused discipline.
- At least five years of relevant experience.
- At least three years of consulting and/or project management experience.
- Business analysis and project management experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organization, and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Clear communication with clients, technical teams, and colleagues.
- The ability to build client relationships and work collaboratively.
Nice to have
- Financial-services experience, particularly with digital or online banking platforms.
- CBAP or PMP certification.
- Experience with requirements analysis, functional testing, regression testing, UAT, and client relationship management.
