About the role
This remote India role is for an engineer with integration and customer-delivery experience who can build solutions on DevRev's platform. You'll spend most of your time implementing AI agents, integrations, automations, and data workflows, with a smaller portion spent directly with customers. The position includes extensive travel for customer implementations and technical workshops.
What you’ll do
- Build and launch customer-facing AI agents, integrations, and automations.
- Connect SaaS and non-SaaS systems through APIs, webhooks, and real-time architectures.
- Improve agent behavior with prompt engineering, semantic search tuning, and generative AI methods.
- Query data, analyze results, and create dashboards for customer decisions.
- Prototype solutions, run live technical demonstrations, and iterate from feedback.
- Coordinate with customer, engineering, product, support, and revenue teams.
- Travel for on-site implementations, workshops, and customer engagements.
What they’re looking for
- Have five or more years in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering.
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Be proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
- Understand LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and evaluation approaches.
- Bring experience with REST, GraphQL, webhooks, event-driven systems, and large-scale data synchronization.
- Deploy software on serverless or edge platforms using CI/CD, containers, and observability practices.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and business audiences.
- Be willing to travel up to 80 percent.
