About the role
This is a senior forward-deployed AI/ML engineering role at NewRocket, a ServiceNow implementation partner, based in India in support of a large global client. It suits an engineer who builds and deploys machine learning and LLM-based systems and wants to work embedded with a client team. The role covers the full lifecycle from model development through deployment across cloud platforms.
What you’ll do
- Develop, train and deploy machine learning models for prediction, classification and clustering.
- Implement AI solutions using TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit-learn.
- Work across AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, S3), Azure and Google Cloud (Vertex AI).
- Fine-tune Hugging Face transformer models such as BERT and GPT for NLP tasks.
- Build AI automation and chatbot solutions using Microsoft Teams and Azure AI.
- Process large-scale data with Apache Spark and Snowflake.
- Design and optimize ETL pipelines for data quality and transformation.
- Manage databases and queries across SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Build data visualizations in Tableau and Power BI.
- Fine-tune and deploy LLMs for conversational AI, text generation and summarization.
- Develop agentic AI systems capable of autonomous, adaptive decision-making.

- 3-6 years applying AI in practical settings.
- Strong Python and SQL programming with TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn.
- Understanding of algorithms and object-oriented and functional design.
- Proficiency with Pandas, NumPy and Matplotlib.
- Hands-on cloud experience across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
- Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing.
- Knowledge of NLP and Hugging Face-based model implementations.
- Strong database management and query optimization skills.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI for visualization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML or a related field.
