About the role
This is a senior individual-contributor analytics role at Autodesk supporting the Go-to-Market Finance organization, open to remote work from a number of US states. The person hired will lead analytics and AI-enabled workflow initiatives spanning Finance, Sales, and Data Engineering to improve planning, forecasting, and reporting. Autodesk builds design and engineering software.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end analytics and AI-enabled workflow initiatives from problem framing through measurable business impact
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to improve planning, forecasting, and reporting workflows
- Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical frameworks
- Design and build scalable data products including pipelines, dashboards, and AI-ready datasets
- Build and test prototypes for AI-enabled Finance workflows such as anomaly detection and variance explanation
- Partner with Data Engineering and Finance Systems to move prototypes into production
- Define and standardize KPI frameworks for financial metrics
- Design and scale dashboards and self-service analytics experiences
- Analyze financial metrics to uncover drivers of growth, retention, and efficiency
- Communicate insights and roadmap tradeoffs to senior leadership
- Mentor junior analysts
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field
- 8-10+ years of experience in analytical fields such as consulting, strategic finance, or data science
- Advanced SQL skills with large, complex datasets
- Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI
- Experience partnering with Finance or GTM leadership on planning and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate findings into business impact
- Experience designing scalable dashboards and analytics products
- Strong stakeholder management skills influencing senior business partners
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Go-To-Market, SaaS, or subscription-based business models
- Experience building AI-enabled workflows for Finance or GTM Finance teams
- Experience with Python or other statistical tools
- Experience applying AI or generative AI to business workflows
- Experience designing AI-ready data products or semantic layers
- Domain experience in FP&A, sales, marketing, or customer success operations
- Experience in high-growth or transformation environments
What’s on offer
- Base salary between $132,000 and $235,950 for US-based roles
